Each badge tier is upgraded with an Amplifier Catalyst — a single-use item matched to that badge family and tier step (e.g. the Moon line uses Moon Amplifier Catalyst [1]–[4]). Use the Catalyst on the badge to attempt the upgrade. The tier ladder is Raging → Furious → Tempest → Blazing → Eternal (some families stop at Blazing).
