Character Stats Explained

Halera uses 6 character stats on top of your vocation skills. Each one caps at 50 or 60. Stats stack on every action — they're the difference between a fresh-leveled char and a fully-tuned one.

Stats are multiplicative bonuses, not flat. They scale with your base values, so higher-level characters benefit more from the same stat point.

The 6 Stats

StatMaxWhat It DoesMax Effect
Strength50Increases your physical damage (melee, distance, bare-hand combat).+21.7% physical dmg at 50
Intelligence50Increases your magic damage (elemental spells and runes).+21.7% magic dmg at 50
Dexterity50Reduces your attack interval — you swing/cast/shoot faster.-25% attack speed at 50
Vitality60Adds bonus maximum HP as a % of your base hitpoints.+30% max HP at 60
Spirit60Adds bonus maximum MP as a % of your base manapoints.+30% max MP at 60
Wisdom50Reduces spell cooldown on every cast (group + individual cooldowns).-25% spell cooldown (soft cap)

How the Math Works

Damage Formulas

Each point of Strength adds +(1/230)0.43% to your physical damage. 50 strength = 50/230 = 21.7%.

Intelligence works the same way but for non-physical damage types (fire, energy, ice, death, holy, earth, arcane, water).

HP / MP Formulas

Vitality adds healthMax × (vitality/200) to your maximum HP. At 60 vitality = healthMax × 0.30 = +30%.

Spirit adds manaMax × (spirit/200) the same way. At 60 spirit = +30% max MP.

Important: the bonus is a percentage of your base HP/MP (from level + vocation), so it grows automatically as you level.

Speed / Cooldown Formulas

Dexterity subtracts (dex/200) from your attack interval. At 50 dex = -25% attack speed.

Wisdom reduces every spell's cooldown — about 1% per point up to 15 (-15%), then with diminishing returns toward a -25% cap. At 10 wisdom = -10%, at 15 = -15%, and beyond that it climbs slowly toward -25%.

How to Gain Stats

  • Permanent stat scrolls — bought from the in-game store (Health Scroll +5 vit, Mana Scroll +5 spr). Premium consumable; use raises your stat permanently.
  • Passive Tree — some nodes grant flat stat points. See the Passive Tree wiki entry.
  • Crafted & Rarity Gear — high-tier armor/weapons can roll stat bonuses as their primary or secondary rolls.
  • Imbuements — certain imbuements add small stat bonuses (typically +1-3).
  • Corruption — corrupted/fractured items grant bonuses across the board but with stat penalties.
